Apps and tools that keep old Macs useful — from PowerPC to Intel, with a few classic Mac ideas brought to Apple Silicon. Why throw away a Mac that still works? True sustainability is using what we have.
This site is where I build apps for everything from PowerPC-era Macs to slightly-less-old Intel Macs, and put out the tools that keep Macs across that whole span useful today.
I'm not big on replacing things just because something newer came out. Getting the most out of what you already have, and holding onto it a little longer, is what real sustainability means to me.
That said, I'll still buy new gear when work actually calls for it. I'm not a purist about it.
Apple's spent decades building genuinely great machines and interfaces. Instead of letting old Macs turn into e-waste, I've been building tools and apps, a little at a time, day by day, that give them a reason to stay useful. This site is where all of that finally got dumped out into the open at once.
My philosophy is simple: real sustainability means not giving up on what you already have.
